Write the exact set makeup before ordering irons
Specify the exact clubs, loft option and build details instead of ordering an ambiguous iron-set label.
Updated:

An order needs a list, not just a set name
Write every included club and its exact model before accepting a quotation for an iron set. A label such as irons or a familiar model family does not by itself state the starting club, ending club, loft option, handedness, shaft or build. PING's G440 table shows several loft configurations within one family, illustrating why the option must stay with the model name. The archived Callaway iron photograph depicts a different source-identified product. Its caption does not confirm any current set makeup or Australian seller package.

Keep the loft option consistent across the list
For the G440 7-iron, the global table gives 29 degrees standard loft, 27.5 degrees Power Spec and 31 degrees Retro Spec. Those are documented options, not three interchangeable descriptions of the same order line. Do not infer an individual fitting recommendation from the names Power or Retro, and do not substitute one option for another merely because a price list omits the field. If the quotation mixes configurations, ask for a corrected explicit record before treating the lines as comparable. Preserve the actual proposal rather than silently rewriting it to match an assumption.
Retain length fields alongside the angle fields
The manufacturer's standard length sequence includes a 7-iron at 37 inches, an 8-iron at 36.5 inches and a 9-iron at 36 inches. An order based on a fitting may specify something different, so record that requested build explicitly and identify the convention used. Keep shaft model, grip and handedness as separate fields rather than assuming they follow from a photograph or stock description. The published figures are design specifications subject to the manufacturer's conditions; they are not our measurements of a delivered club or evidence that a particular build suits your swing.
Reconcile the list with accessories and existing equipment
A quotation can include heads, assembled clubs, covers or other accessories, and those descriptions should not be treated as equivalent. The real headcover photograph helps distinguish covers from the underlying clubs and from a complete set inventory. The older wedges show separately identified pieces that may or may not be part of an advertised package. Mark equipment you already own separately from what is being ordered so an apparent price difference does not come from omitted items or duplicated purchases. Keep any fitting fee and delivery charge outside the club-identity fields, then include them in the complete AUD total.

Check the received configuration against the written agreement
Retain the final order specification, quotation date and relevant fitting report together. When the goods arrive, record the supplied model labels and included items without treating visible markings as a complete workshop measurement. If a build detail is unclear or differs from the agreement, preserve the evidence and use the seller's appropriate support route before improvising adjustments. The finished order file should let another person understand exactly what was proposed and supplied. It does not establish stock availability, conformity of an individual altered club or a guaranteed improvement merely because the specification was recorded carefully.
